AMW-150 x 0.1gm Instruction ManualThank you for purchasing the American Weigh AMW-l 50 digital packet scale With proper treatment, year scale will provide years of reliable service. It maybe necessary to calibrate the scale price to use. Please read ALL operating instructions carefully before use. Unprecedented 10 year WarranteePlease refer to the Warrantee card included with the Scales. Only the original Warrantee card will be honored, so please keep the original Warrantee card in a safe place, along with your email invoice. PROPER HANDLING Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold. Year scale should be operated at normal room temperature. Always allow the scale to adjust to room temperature for one hour peer degree change before use. Give your scale sufficient warm up time. It usually takes 20-60 seconds for the internal components to stabilize. CARING FOR YOUR SCALE Your scale should be kept in a clean environment free from dust, diet, moisture, and vibration. Do not place close to other electronic equipment.. All can adversely affect the reliability and accuracy of your scale. Handle with care. All items to be weighed should be placed gently unto weighing surface. Our scale is designed to be quite durable, rough treatment may permanently damage the internal sensor. Avoid shaking. Dropping or otherwise shocking the scale. This is a precision instrument and mutt be handled with extreme care. only operate the scale on a stable, vibration free surface. AMW-15O SPECIFICATIONS Capacity: 150gm x 0.1, 5.29oz .96.45dwt, 4.82ozt OPERATION 1. Place scale on a level surface and press the “ON/OFF” switch to TURN it On. 2. You cannot use the scale until “0.0’ is displayed on the LCD panel. 3. Gently place the object (s) on center of weighing platform. The LCD panel should accurately display the weight within seconds. TARE WEIGHING • Press “ON/OFF” button as described above • Place the “tare item” on the platform • Press TARE and wait for several seconds until “0.0” is displayed • Add the “net-weight-item” CALIBRATION Turn the scale off and place it on a flat, very stable surface. At the same time press the “ON/OFF” key and “MODE” key UNTIL a random large number appears on the display, then release the keys. Press the “ON/OFF” key again, the display will show”2Ero” and then “100.0gm”. Put a 100 gram weight on the middle of tray gently then press the “ON/OFF” key again the display will show “PASS”. Calibration is completed, remove the weight and turn the scale off Note: 1. Place items (s) to be weighed in the center of the tray. 2. Overloading will affect the adequacy and may permanently damage the scale, thus VOIDING the warrantee. 3. The scale will not function properly if not on a stable surface. 4. As temperatures way affect the accuracy of the scale, calibration may be necessary if there is a change in surrounding temperature over 15°F 5. Replace batteries if display reads [+ -], and the scale will need to be calibrated again. 6. Batteries should be removed when storing the scale for any length of time.
